..there;s a new beginning in every pain..

..
In a loving relationship, there are often hurt feelings. We have certain expectations of our partner, and when they do not live up to them we are likely to feel a sense of betrayal. The truth is that if we put our hurt aside for a moment we may realize that our lover was not even aware of the expectations that we had for them. These expectations are probably a carryover of fantasies that we have in our heart of how a perfect lover behaves. It is OK to have these expectations. However, if we expect our partner to fulfill them for us we must at let them know what we would like.

drama mode!!..

..

“As I look back on all what happened.. changing you, changing me -- there were times when we dreamed together, when we laughed  together. As I look back on those days, I realize how much I truly miss you and how much I truly love you.

Our today, make the memories of tomorrow. So, my "______", it is with all my heart that I send you my love, hoping that you'll always carry my smile with you, for all we have meant to each other and for whatever the future may be hold.”

The Department of Education in partnership with STI, its network of schools, and the STI Foundation will launch the first ever Voice of the Youth – National Oratorical Competition on November 18, 2010 at the STI Academic Center , Fort Bonifacio, Global City Taguig. This competition is intended to be an annual academic competition that aims to promote critical thinking and fluency in the use of English amongst select high school students from different private and public schools nationwide.

The Voice of the Youth – National Oratorical Competition gives the younger generation of Filipinos a venue to express their thoughts and opinions especially on this year’s theme “Change I Want to See Begins with Me: Becoming the New Filipino.” Participants are asked to write original orations on how they perceive the theme and what is relevant, helpful and inspiring to them. Asked about the participation of STI at the said event, Mitch Andaya, Vice President for Academics of STI said, “We at STI are very proud to have partnered with the Department of Education and the STI Foundation in this endeavor. As an educational institution, we aim to develop necessary skills among students which will help them become competitive professionals and globally proficient communicators of their time…”
